A new start
I decided to give blogging another go. Previously, I did my best to follow a theme or format with my blog but, that limited my drive to create posts and content. This go-around, I'm going to steer away from any structure or format. The only goal in mind is just to simply write. A friend of mine (Kev) came up with a challenge called 100 Days to Offload that I intend on completing. This is simply a push to publish 100 blog posts within a 365 day period. While this sounds simple, it presents a hurdle for many people.

I don't have any set pace or expectation as to what will come out of the effort but, I'm hoping to just put thoughts down as they come mind. I've gone through and created a list of some topics that I think will be interesting to elaborate on if/when I get to them.

What's with the name?
Great question. Previously, I just used my name as the domain and blog title but, I wanted to do something a little more fun and off-the-cuff. From that, the idea of "Beard Nuggets" was born. Essentially, this represents a stream of thoughts I might have, ranging from from small tidbits to medium-sized publications or "nuggets" of thought.

So, from here, we'll see what the coming weeks and months hold.
